'tunedem', effectively, of a mylar balloon filed with helium made me chuckle, and relate through the video to a relative with failing hearing... Thanks for sharing, and sad about the context even though it was an interesting celebration of Art and the wonderful reach of music.

Interesting video, thanks for sharing. Happy for the man to be able to appreciate music in his own way.

Amazing! I showed this to my wife and she told me that I should buy a mylar helium balloon. I wasn't sure what to make of that ...

Glad it was worth sharing and everyone got some much out of it. Obviously I too found it very touching especially when he talks about Coltrane and the power of music.

Yes, I quite enjoyed it too. It made me think of that famous deaf percussionist, Evelyn Glennie, who "hears" through her feet.

As to springwood64, I'd buy two balloons not for stereo but as his and hers. That would turn the joke back around! ;-)
