I am looking at buying a first generation Akurate Kontrol w/o Dynamik. I have heard that the AK/0 enjoys an enormous improvement with the Dynamik.

I have a Unidisk SC with Dynamik. Are Dynamik modules interchangeable? Can I swap modules?

Many Dynamik modules work in several units but I don't believe that what you want to do will work. I recall there being a Dynamik Disk for the three UniDisk players (likely the Akurate CD player as well) but a different one for the Akurate Kontrol (and also for the Exotik DA as I recall).

I will have to find a newer Akurate on the used market.
Have my eye on a Akurate 2 which is about 200Euro more expensive.
Do you know if the phono stage is better on this than the AK/0?

I don't believe Linn has changed the phono stage on any of the Akurate units.

The MM/MC phonostage is the same, and btw also similar to that of the preamp Majik Kontrol.

But as a the preamp, AK/1 is better than AK/0 - and naturally MK as well. With such a little difference in price I would certainly go for the AK/1. You get a very good headphone stage as a bonus.

I will have to go back to a Kinos, and get a separate phono stage (e.g. Linto).

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to listen to an Entity.

Yes, I was thinking the same until I saw the price in Denmark. I am afraid it is a little out of my league.
