Eli7,

do you think you could describe in what way the Akurate DS/3 was not for you?

So the question is: Which amiable person would be willing to build one for me?
I was in your shoes a year ago, but I got there.

Hello Fredrik, I wrote this earlier in the thread:
"But when I ask myself the crucial questions like:
Do I want to listen to more music now (with ADSM/3)?
Do I enjoy the music more?
Do I want to stay up late in the evening because I am so fascinated by the music? Etc.
Then I have to say, no, I don't think so."

That hits it pretty well: Digital currently doesn't pull me into music as much as analog.

I was hoping the ADSM / 3 would be better in this regard. The Majik LP12 especially with Slipsik is much better for me. Even with a small Rotel amplifier (400 euros) and a pair of Dynaudio Emit 20s, it's so much fun that I want more music. With the ADSM / 3, I was often quick enough.

Eli7, you need the most musical digital source on this planet (and it still may not fulfill you needs) or just go analog.

That is a dilemma as you have pointed out that much of the music you want to listen to only is available in digital form. :-(

Short question. Is the Audiotech a good, highly recommended stand for the LP12?

Yes, but the NokTable or the Harmonihyllan Bord are better.

Many thanks for the quick response. I have now seen the original Audiotech on photos. The rack offered for sale does not seem to be original. It has no lettering and is also much higher. I prefer to keep my hands off it.
