And a 21mm if you want to do the bottom. I would recommend six point sockets as I was told by one forum member that one with more points didn't fit.

You should be fine with this tool. It goes from 2in.lbs to 36in.lbs. That's the same range as the CAL 36/4 (0.2nM to 4nM). Just convert your desired nM into in.lbs and set that on the scale.

Good evening,
According verification, the Wera A5 progresses 0.1Nm between each clics. The starting clic is 1Nm, 10 clics increase the tightening by 1Nm, 5clics =0.5Nm. 25 clics for the official tightening torque 2.5 Nm. 2.5+0.1 =2.6 Nm +0.1=2.7Nm.
2.5Nm +0.5 =3Nm +0.5=3.5Nm.

That is the one I use as well and a 21mm version of the same. They came as part of a metric Wera socket and wrench kit I bought a few years ago. A very handy kit. You can usually buy a kit of six or seven graduated sockets for a bit less than buying them individually. I did that to get a set of imperial sockets to go with the kit.

Search Craftsman on Amazon, they make some nice 6 sided metric sockets that can be purchased individually.

I dont want to come over unfriendly but if you need a picture for what you ask for I am not sure if you might better consider a dealer to set up the Karousel for you.

the dealer actually mounted the karousel for me by tightening the 20 mm bolt by hand without a torque wrench, so in Italy there are no good specialists

If a Linn dealer installs a Karousel without using a torque wrench you should inform Linn HQ.

You couldn't be more wrong.

One of the best LP12 technicians in the world is in Rome: Paolo at Key Systems.

Paolo was the second person I shared the torque system with after Fredrik. Years ago we formed a torque "triumvirate" experimenting with torques on a wide range of equipment and sharing our findings. This allows us to further improve our skills as different torques are discovered. (You can see how this works in this thread. Finding torques that sound good, researching more and eventually coming up with the best torque.) Shortly after I first sent Paolo the LP12 torques he came up with one that was even better. I have found that 90% of the time Paolo comes up with a new torque it is better. He is definitely one of the best.
