Hi

I keep reading about people that experince problems with the data cables, one post in paticulary worried me.

The guy bourgt a majik ds but couldent hear and improvment compared to his very very cheap cambridge cd player, that until he turned the data cabel feeding the DS around.

The post is in swedish so i imagin that in here are some that could help me out.

My questioan is simply this what cabeld you be optimal from my swich to my DS , the one i have now it say CMG -FT4 on it.

There is nothing wrong with the sound here , infact it sounds heavenly but i have got the fear that i might be missing out.

I read parts of the long thread and to me the gist of it was something was wrong with the customer's preamp 5103, I never understood what, but when he bypassed it and used the built-in pre the DS sounded fine. Still this customer goes to the dealer and buys a silver IC and is convinced the direction of the digital cable was important. To which I remain sceptical. Did you try it?
