Guide to the “playground”

Being kind of surprised that the “playground” tread has become what it is now I think it is time to help others to try it out.

An easy way to start is to get a (free of charge) dropbox account. There you can store your video clips taken with your smartphone/tablet. I use my ipad. Just use the video recorder that comes with your phone/tablet.

We mostly use video clips because it is easy and also because it creates a sound that is easy to relate to and compare “tune” with.

With dropbox you can create a link and copy it in your post on the forum so others can listen to and comment on it.

Make a before and after clip so you can compare the change (only changing one thing at a time). Remember it is all about the relative change. It is not about making the best “sounding” clip on the forum.

Feel free to ask questions. I am not an expert but others can answer as well.

Remember you can actually end up with a much better sounding system.
