anyone heard this speaker...the update was released in Nov of '07. im told the improvements are signifigant...but looking for specifics...thx

The following is from linn directly:
"The differences of the 242's are; different xovers and drive unit (SPKR
058/1 to SPKR 058/2) and 3k array. These improvements would not be
visible, but have a significant effect on performance."

Which leads one to believe the difference between the 2 is quite large. Still no one heard these? you guys have a million dealers on your sideof the river. We have like 30 in the whole country... And noone has these on demo!!

Listened to the new ones when first listened to the Akurate DS!!!

Be aware that if you listen them, your bank account/credit card will suffer!!!
