For a comparison of pre amps (AK and KK) among friends we want to make sure that they play equally loud.
Can someone give me a hint whether the same number on the display means that they play at the same volume? The manual says: Output 2 V rms for AK, and 8V peak (15 dBV maximum) for KK. Unfortunately, this is of little help for me.

As long as it is the later version of the KK with the mono volume control circuit they will play at the same level with the same numerical volume setting. Earlier KK units were 10dB lower on level at the same number.
