These are Marco’s units
I had the opportunity to run them in and compare while he had short holiday

Sounds fab Sopper, really good, as good as I've heard.

Those speakers work really well with the Lejonklou electronics too.

Agree with everyone else about the second clips.

So have you got the option to get TM3s? Seems like a no-brainer if you have the funds...

2 is obviously the best. It sounds bigger and better, and every piece of music is more tuneful and involving.
Also. Thanks for playing my song request Riding with the King.
I forgot to check for best sounding version on Spotify but the one you picked sounded very good.

Thank you Sopper for an extensive set of clips. I hope you manage to get a permanent pair.

Thanks, I really love Harbeths with Lejonklou in my room
Will talk to Marco tomorrow and discuss the possibilities for obtaining a set.
I must have it…

Hello Sopper, thank you for posting the clips.

I'm a bit late in joining the canon of outposts. Sounds really good and somehow "known". I had heard some Harbeth at an analogue fair recently and was not at all convinced. All the better that they sing in your system, congratulations.

Very nice clips Sopper, I enjoyed all of them, even the ones I thought I wouldn't. The 1 clips sounded good but the 2 clips were in a different league. You could point to various sonic characteristics that were improved but to me the difference comes down to 1 clips Reproduced music, clips 2 reproduced MUSIC!

Exactly that, Thomas

Thanks for posting, Sopper. Very interesting & informative to hear the differences across a range of tracks, and really helpful especially with the clips so consistently recorded…

There’s been mention of a long run-in time with the TM3s. Apologies if I missed it, but how many hours did the TM3s have on them in these clips - do you think they were fully run in, or do you suspect that there’s potentially even more music to come, compared to the TM2s?

They lost their harshness at loud volumes after 5 days 24/7 playing
The clips were recorded with 10 days 24/7 playing, so I think they were fully settled, at least I couldn’t here difference they day following

Just some messing around with switches and cat cables, since my SG-108tv2 died on me twice
Can you spot differences? Which one you prefer?

A left my mind wandering, B caught my interest. The timing of the drums also seems better on B.

Great, both B, my preference too.

Not revealing yet, but since both of you liked B, how about these two?

C sounds very digital and is missing the groove, that this track should have. D is better, but something is still missing.

I'd also go with D being better than C, which is indeed missing much of the groove and sounds a bit flat.

Thanks for the input

Like i said, my Netgear GS-108t died on me.
So I installed a Netgear GS105 I had lying around, and that sounded very flat…

While I couldn’t find another GS-108t, I thought I look for something else.
I came up with a cheap Ubiquiti Unifi flex mini switch, since we all have good experience with their Amplifi HD routers.
They also sell very cheap and flexible cat cables, so I bought some of those too.

Clip A is Netgear GS105 + Unifi Cat cables
Clip B is Netgear GS105 + BJC 6a cables

Clip C is Netgear GS105 + BJC 6a cables
Clip D is Unifi Flex mini + BJC 6a cables

I’ll stay with BJC 6a and Unifi Flex mini switch until I find another Netgear GS108T
