I found this a bit easier. Playing downloaded files thru Apple TV to Hakai.

I prefer L1 and L2. I found K2 sounded a bit harsh thru my playback and had to turn it down a bit.

I missed the previous clips. Was there a reference bottom on that Harmoni rack (basically an upside down Tor shelf that can’t be used)?

If could have made a wish, I would have made that and then replacing Mimer K with a Tor or a Trud. And definitely using Trampolin feet on all Harmoni shelves.

Regarding K and L, I find K to make more sense. It’s certainly harsher and not sounding as nice, but the pace and interplay feels more solid. In comparison, L is rushing forward as if the musicians have had too much coffee.

I think so too. However, I can’t help but wonder why we sometimes come to different conclusions, and the most frustrating thing about that is I genuinely don’t have an answer!

Clips are a little tricky. I think that in the same room, the opinion splits would be far less.

But we’d probably still have a few interesting divisions. I find those moments extremely valuable. There always something to learn from them.

Beck: it is quite hard to choose between them in the room. It takes a while to change and it could be bias when I see the tables. Slightly prefer Mana but think there is more to get out of the LP12 setup. Next setup I am really interested in your comments.

I prefer M; it's more musically coherent to me. N might 'sound' better, but is a bit disjointed...

(Previously, I was ok with K, less with L)

It took me quite a while to sort these two out! Eventually, I also felt that M had the edge. It was close and difficult for me but it felt like M was slightly more harmonious than N.

The first track had a 1970’s Meters feel to it, but halfway through I picked up another band’s signature but couldn’t quite put my finger on it! Who were they Offerdal please?

M was a clear preference with both laptops for clip 2 but I struggled with the other two clips, esp Madonna.

I think I'd have to opt for M simply based on the second clip cos it's a bit of a jumble with N, and besides, M doesn't do anything wrong on clips 1 and 3.

However, there is something I like with N clips 1 and 3, maybe rhythmic drive, not really sure.

I'm interested to know what's what. I'm guessing M is Harmoni rack and N is a Mana rack.
