Clips will come but more likely tomo. Yesterday I had a bad start and a better end.
For my self made new rack I tried washers inbetween horizontal levels and the columns that supported them we had Clips for that some days before - I thought maybe I didnt let the wood settle enough. So in ignorance all the 3 levels got the washers (for the chance of 3 times better or 3 times worst) after sitting down and switching through some music it was soo bad that I removed the washers only on the source level and only doing so the music came back ... that means there is chance for more improvement if the other levels get their washers removed.

Both sound good to me.

Although T is more direct and perhaps more pitch accurate, I feel there's a depth and focus on the finer details in H that draws me into the music more.

I'm with Fredrik on this. I find T a bit more propulsive but to me there is more emotion in the voice on H and I feel the music flows better on it as well.

Hm, interesting one, and it looks like we’re split on this one.

I’m going for T, because I found it the most tuneful and slightly more rhythmical, so should provide the most enjoyment over time and with a wider variety of music.

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night so I'm feeling a little hazy. Now I'm at work on Saturday, the last day of my work week. It is dark and raining outside and no customers have so far graced us with their presence. (Of course we've only been open an hour but it feels a lot longer - "What do you mean it is nowhere near 6PM yet!") That doesn't help the hazy feeling.

So I'm catching up on the forums and here are a couple new clips. I play clip 1 and immediately think "Hey, I love this song." I listen to it and start drifting away into the song and the rain and realize about 50 seconds in "Wait, I'm supposed to be comparing clips." (I don't usually listen in that long when I'm comparing them.) So I switch to clip 2. "Hmmm, I'm no longer drifting into the rain and the song. Let's go back to clip 1." That's better, back flowing with the music I listen to the end of the clip. Then I do a couple more quick A/Bs and then listen to clip 1 all the way to the end again and I'm disappointed when it unceremoniously stops without the rest of the track.

I guess I'll have to find it on YouTube.

Hi Tom yes I remember I did the same long time ago stopping the song at a non harmonious rest - sorry.
Its nice you confirm my findings. The difference is this:

Washers between the column and the board - washers make it unmusical most clear when I took the washers out from the level with the Akurate DS so I assumed it would have the same effect for the levels with the Sagatun Monos.
Next test will be taking out the slade slab.

1 is easier for me to make sense too. I quite like 2 as well though. It makes 1 sound a bit synthetic to my ears.
