I’d like to hear the Boazu but I think my issue is more fundamental than the amp. For sure, the 32.5/snaps/250 can be bettered (probably by 32.5/CB 160 as well) but not my priority right now. More likely to look at Entity once I’m happy with the deck.
The entity is better than urika, think you would like it.

It did highlight that the 110 sounds too speeded up much of the time, but I've come up with two nicely balanced systems with the kit I've got:

1.) Radikal LP12 > 32.5/SNAPS/250 > Briks: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xn8o4prjy07st ... D.MOV?dl=0

2.) Valhalla LP12 > 12/160 > Kans: https://www.dropbox.com/s/61sk7h9dxyiit ... D.MOV?dl=0 (2 tracks)

Plan is to remove the Urika very soon as I'm still not happy overall with the main deck compared to the Valhalla one. I’m hoping that getting them on similar Naim phono boards will help me understand where I’m at, and take it from there.
its difficult with your comparison as I would be absolutely fine living with your Valhalla LP12 especially taking value for money into account

As I have followed your search it is making me happy that you now are ready to through a party for the forum members with you Isobarik/250 setup. It should be able to play loud enough to make us all dance the night away! :-)

@anthony: that's good to know. David Neel has been very enthusiastic
@Defender: Yes, that setup is very good bang for buck

Thanks. I am realising now that my phone does not like the volume too high, unless it's something to do with my laptop/headphones:

I hasten to note that these clips should not be compared with the two I posted last night. There were changes made elsewhere in the system between recording the two sets so despite being the same song, any comparison made between the two pairs will not be valid.
Yep, I'm liking .6+4 better among these two.

Two pretty cool sounding systems - I even listened to all of the track on the Isobariks (I can't claim to have done that on the Kans). Two classic systems that both still "show a clean pair of heels" to much (most?) current gear.

Very nice indeed! And plenty of (well controlled) bass too.

I prefer B but enjoyed them both.

Nice to see your listening room in the daylight - That's not a hint or anything - just makes a nice change.

Is this a subtle reference to Click and Clack?

I'm engaged more by B and 1.

I'm glad everyone insisted on hearing those missing clips! I was rather smitten by +5 but after your feedback I tried +4 again and you're right, it's better. I'm thinking I might be there (or damn close) but let's try the other direction just to be sure.

If Charlie1 gets to play disco, I'm going to play country (the only country album I own):

Interesting clips ThomasOK.

There are differences to be heard.

For now I will just say that I enjoy them all. :-)

I prefer the first clip. It sounds like two different performances.

Luvleh. Only in this forum would you expect to hear disco and not bat an eye. Once a musical system, always a musical system.
+1 :-)

0.6 +4 still for me but I think you need to try half steps around it - for me the music before in the comparison 0.6 +4 vs. 0.6 +5 gave me more information to decide which is better.
If we settle for something around 0.6 +4,5 or 0.6 +3,5 we than compare it to 0.6 +5.5 just to be sure

Here, between this 2 clips, for me better is 0.6+4.
But ... I think something is missing, more can be done, there is space for improvement ...
