How to Rip music DVDs?

Post by Robert Lake »

I would like to rip my music DVDs, put them on a hardrive and play the video from my Oppo 103 and Popcorn A300. The sound will go through my Akurate kontrol/0D and a Movie 2005.

However, I don't know anyhing about the best format to preserve the quality of the music.
And, what is the best streamer if I want 5.1 multi-channel, is there anything better than the Oppo?

I use http://www.makemkv.com/. Not the most user friendly program but you can choose what to include in the file from both DVD and BR without any loss of quality. All will end up in one .mkv file, I´m sure oppo can handle this.

I also am interested in this. Kind of.
I have the new version of the crimson idol by WASP and there's a bluray with the album songs on it with a video. I wondered if there was any way to rip these because they should be higher quality than the cd files.
ADS3/SagMono/Tundra 2.2- . Totem Tribe Tower.
Lejonklou demos available in the N of England.
