How come the sweet spot is not always the sweet spot?
I have been trying my speakers in various positions today& I am finding more bass in the system ,away from the Sweet Spot i.e. the Bass is more dynamic either side of the Sweet Spot : if that makes any sense !! :?
Hi Toffee!
What do you mean by sweetspot? Normally when people talk about sweetspot, they refer to their favourite or optimal position to SIT on. Not the position of the speakers.
When you tune the optimal position of your speakers with the Tune Method, you consciously try to disregard what is happening to the tonal quantities. Instead of "more or less bass?" you ask questions like "are they playing more or less in tune?". When you are done, you will find that not only the musical whole, but also the details, have "snapped into place".
Perhaps you already know these things, but I'm trying to figure out what "level" your question is on and what you really mean.
