CD Compilations

Post by vicdiaz »

Hi,

I'm having issues with CD compilations and the way Twonky/ADS play them.

With the "Raising the Mamooth" CD from "The Explorer's Club" there is a 1-2 second pause between each song, something that does not happens when played thru my Genki (basically a vvveeerrryyy lllooonnnggg sssooonnnggg).

Ideas?

What software are you using as Control software? Please be aware that the LinnGUI is the only Control software at the moment which is able to play songs without gap on the DS.

Uhm, Last nite I was using Cidero, But If I recall correctly (IIRC) the same happened with the Linn GUI.

BTW, I used RipStation for ripping the CD's. I just finished reading some of the info posted on the EAC web site and will try it tonight.
