Any Linn MC (or even MM) cartridge will do fine, and the are made to fit extremely well with Linn arms. And, that is a huge advantage! It is just a matter of your budget how far you want to go. The Ekos is a very arm and can handle the best MC:s.
You can also buy a second hand Linn MC and have it rebuilt. If you look in this forum you will find tips on were to send it to have it rebuild.
However, if you have a LP12 many say that upgrading to Keel or Kore is far more optimal that going directly to an MC. You might want to listen to that option before starting on the relatively expensive MC option.
Update: I forgot to mention that Lejounklou's MM pre-amplifiers are in a different class than everything else out there and with Keel/Kore lifts MM cartridges to new and cost effective level compared to an expensive top MC cartridge.
