I am thinking about buying a new Peugeot 308 SW. They offer an upgrade of their car stereo with a sub, additional speakers and a "digital amplifier" from Denon. My car dealer likes it (of course) but I have not heard it myself. Price is modest, only SEK4500 or around EUR500 for the package.
Have anyone heard a Denon car stereo?
The radio in the car does not sound good, typical clear but boring car sound lacking tune dem qualities. I suspect the CD for around 90 pounds or EUR110 sounds the same. I also fear that the Denon amplification simply plays louder and magnifies the lack of tune dem qualities in the sources, even if I attach my Sansa click zip and later a Pono to the USB or AUX.
