I have a 4year old Adikt with about 500hrs use and a 6month old replacement stylus with about 100hrs use. They both sound good but completely different. The older one is powerful with a deep bass and the newer one is more refined, more emotion and better treble. Of the two I prefer the new one. To test I used the same body and settings and both were scrupulously clean.

Have Linn changed the spec or is just a a result of age and wear? The two sound like totally different cartridges so I can't see it being the normal manufacturers variability
