New Linn black interconnects - sell, or replace?

hello forumists,
An impending purchase has conveniently forced a re-assessment of the various bits of Linn 'stuff' I have accumulated over the years.
Apart from the speakers that are about to be replaced, I'm now looking at the smaller, more invisible items. Such as the black interconnects that Linn provide with each purchase of hardware. I have x5 pairs, still in their retail packaging. Should I replace three of them into my current 5.1 set-up - some of those cables probably date back to '95, when I first started buying Linn. Would it offer any significant improvement. Do interconnects get tired after almost two decades of use?
NB. Currently, I have Silver i/cs from each source into the Kontrol/0. And using Black i/cs for the Analog Group (ie. 5.1). Selling five Blacks might afford me one new Silver, but might this then unbalance the 5.1 group? I could buy a speaker stand, instead.

Most of the new cables would date to 2010, when I moved from LK-units to Akurate.

Your considered thoughts appreciated.
