Removal & Refitting of Aktiv Cards
Hi I maybe will have to remove some Aktiv Cards from a 4200 and refit them in my 6100 & Majik 1 a few questions:

Are there any internal links to remove on the 4200 if there are where would I find them and how many are there?
I have seen some pictures of the 212 cards and they have separate small heatsinks how do these fit?
I assume once the cards are removed the 4200 would go back to passive mode.
Anything to consider when fitting them to my 6100 and removing the current cards which are for my 140's

Finally is there a user guide available for this..

There may be the short internal cables linking channels 1&2 and 3&4. These are about 7cm long, red and black twisted cables, with small white connectors. Can't remember exactly where they go on a 4200.

I'm not aware of any extra heat sinks on any aktiv cards. What you will find is that once you unscrew the card, when you lift it off there's a block of pins which link the card to the main board. This should also be unplugged, to reduce risk of an accidental short circuit. Once a card has been removed, the amp will then be passive for that channel.

Hope that helps.

It's really pretty easy. Easier than LK or AV series amps, anyway!

On a 4200 the red and black jumper cables are just near the back of the circuit board, pretty much where the input sockets come through the case.
