It is not giving me the option to just view it only to download. I looked all over the window on both clips and tried clicking on the files or mouse-over on various places and the view option doesn't appear.

Me too. You don’t get anything for free and the adverts, cookies, download times etc are a bit of a put off.

Sorry to hear about your struggles. This service worked very straight forward on the storage/sending side, while in contrast registering with dropbox had some obstacles to overcome, as in: climbing the stairs to fetch my mobile in order to do the two factor authentication.
But it appears like the easter eggs are now well hidden behind a less than mediocre user interface?
Thx to @anthony for his helpful remark, how to get around this!
So far we have one vote. Thx @Beck.

I find 2 (Mest) less bad than 1.

No disrespect intended, but there isn’t much music in these clips for me. Couldn’t listen to the end.

I have the same problem that others have described, I have to do the full download first.

I also prefer "Mest".

I prefer "Mest" as well, the timing is better there.

I should be sleeping but since I'm here I vote for A1
Edit: Late night listening at low volume tripped me up. I think because A1 was recorded a bit louder. Listening again today it's obvious B2 is better.

I was more into the music with b2. More listening to the hifi in a1.

My initial impression, for what it's worth, was that the pace on b2 could do with slowing down a fraction, but when I listened again, that sense was gone.

I found myself wanting to do other things during A1, not so much during B2.

I found A1 had a bit more of that "detailed" sound but B2 was more enjoyable to me in most ways. However B2 was also a little frustrating as when the vocals first came in I could almost hear what they were singing. On A1 there was no tendency to even try.

I'm personally having a difficult read on the music you chose to A/B, perhaps because that type of music is not really known for their mastering qualities. Also because the volume seem kinda loud and kinda distorted and that too is working against both for me. So, I will kindly take a pass on this one. ...Anyway, just my 2¢

Thanks for the clips John. May I ask why you’ve presented the clips and what you hope to gain? Your answer will assist me in formulating a helpful response.

I prefer A1. Although it’s messy and distorted, and B2 less so, there’s some timing issue with B2. It looses the drive and becomes polite.

The best of both would be nice.

Appreciate the input. I may redo with a better piece of music tomorrow. I’m comparing two sources.

How can they sound so different? A1 is dry as if recorded in a studio and B2 sounds like a live concert. B2 also seems quite a bit louder.

I find it difficult to pick the most musical one. B2 impresses, but there’s something right about A1.

Re-recorded SomethingB1, brought down level and fixed mic orientation.
