Is really Twin better than 2200/D?

Is really Twin better than 2200/D?

Post by Music Lover »

In my quest for Solos, I got some PMs from trusted members that state Late Twin being better than 2200/D, but I have compared 2 or 3 200Wamps with dynamik (older upgraded and MY2010) with 2 Twins - one MY2010.
Even if the newest Twin was a bit, just a bit better than the older Twin chakra - all 200w amps with dynamik were considerably better (more musical and powerful) as previously reported.
Twin makes only better HiFi

This makes me little confused so I appreciate feedback in the matter from more forum members.

Anyone comparing late Twins with old/new Solos detecting a trend...

Well if you feel the 200 amps are better, I don't see the point in getting twins, as you have proved to yourself.
I find a twin much better in everyway to a 2200, and I know many others would agree. It was very convincing.

Absolutely correct Anthony, I'm not interested at all in Twin's.

I also find our different findings strange. I base my evaluation on tune dem and it wasn't even close, but not big either. Just clearly better.. Same goes with percieved power but that was a bigger difference. Tested using 2 different Twins and 3 different 200w/D.
And in two different systems.

Any other on the forum with feedback on this?

Interesting!

I see we have differing opinions here, both based on the Tune Method. I'm ready for a shootout, one of you has got to be wrong!

Or the answer is that they're pretty close and I'm biased towards a fight, due to the day after tomorrow being a goverment election day in Sweden...

By the way, there is no other forum with more reliable reports, at least that I know of. :!:
