Akurate ds (Dynamic) vs KDS.

How far are ???. I am thinking about change Akurate DS to KDS, I have Klimax Kontrol /1/D. Do you think that is necessary before, for instance change X200 (Aktive) for solos (passive)???. I know that the main important thing is the source but are really so far????

The change from ADS to KDS is always worthwhile. Even if you feed an Intek and a pair of Keilidh with it.

To me, Lingo to Radikal and ADS to KDS are currently the two biggest differences in the entire Linn product line. Silly amounts of money, but once you enjoy them, it's priceless.

I've heard the following statement regarding price versus performance throughout my life; "Quality is remembered, long after price is forgotten." And there may be some validity to that statement 8) .

Klimax DSD with K/K1 D is fantastic.
I had a Kikkin , now my KDS with K/K1 D is just great. Lost for words.

Plus, a source upgrade of any significant magnitude will always trump an upgrade of the amps or speakers.

Finally I get the KDS. I am very impressed. KDS+KK/1 are really fantastic. AKDS/D is good but KDS/D, I have no words...
