Sad to see such a good speaker as the Akudorik being discontinued altogether. Glad that I got my passive Akubariks in time, you very rarely see any (nor the passive Akudoriks) for sale anymore.
Most people might elect to hang onto these speakers, instead of selling them. I've been told by a few people the passive Akudoriks were better sounding than the active version, although both sounded really good. Here is a review conducted by What Hi-Fi in 2015, and they give the Akudoriks a five star rating (click on link below).

I believe that is an old listing from when you could buy the Akudoriks new. I doubt they still have them, although it is worth checking if you are in the market for a pair.

Active were the Exakt ones with (presumably) Akurate Exaktbox 6 or similar and 4x100W Chakra. So are we comparing that with passive Akudoriks with Akurate Exaktbox 6 and 2xC4100?

Very likely, or what ever dealers were using for auditions and demonstrations (including same sources).

Thanks for the heads-up Thomas, I couldn't tell if it was an old listing or not...
