I tried normal chromecast into hifi ..obviously I could only cast YouTube ..wasn't very memorable ..unless tidal is supported I'm not going to bother

I'm just surprised how easy it makes streaming online music to a traditional stereo via RCA connectors. Although it only seems to have a 3.5mm connector to the dongle itself so you need an adaptor for phono leads.
I know the quality will be low, probably no good for many to enjoy music, but just the idea of it and the price struck me. And no doubt these things will improve over time.
