Distorted Duffy?

Has anyone else listened to Duffy's 2008 album Rockferry?

If so, do you hear distortion on some of her vocals. I hear it normally on "Serious"

I first heard it on the vinyl LP when I played it on my LP12. I thought maybe it was down to the pressing.

However, I can still hear it I think on Spotify and Källa.

It's a great album, but has occasional short episodes that just hurt my ears.

Anyone else heard this?

I haven't heard this sort of painful distortion on any other recording.

I played it this morning and couldn't hear what you are decribing. Is there any special point in the song, that I should listen to?
