I’m a big fan of Jazz music, but this one I’d pass on. It’s a snooze fest.

I mostly like jazz from 1956-62. These are all pretty good:
Benny Carter – Jazz Giant
Shelly Manne And His Men, Volume 1 - The West Coast Sound
Shelly Manne & His Men – At The Black Hawk Vol. 1
Art Pepper – The Trip
Milt Jackson & Ray Charles – Soul Brothers
Marty Paich Big Band – What's New
Marty Paich – I Get A Boot Out Of You
Bill Evans Trio* – Portrait In Jazz
Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers – The Big Beat
Bobby Timmons – This Here Is Bobby Timmons
Hank Mobley – Soul Station
Junior Mance – Junior
Horace Parlan Quintet – On The Spur Of The Moment
Ella Fitzgerald – Ella Fitzgerald Sings The Harold Arlen Song Book

Thanks John, that looks like a good selection. I’ll work my way through them and let you know how I get on.

Spotify has some nice Jazz playlists, listening at the moment to Late Night Jazz :-)

The Trip is great so I expect the whole list to be up my alley. I’m going to give them a listen.
Since the guys from Stereo Haven visited our room at Axpona and Mike Pranka (US distributor of the JM Reynaud speakers we played on) gave me a copy of Ruben Wilson’s ‘Love Bug’, I’ve been into jazz.

Enjoy going through the list. Definitely some of my favorites of the many jazz albums in my collection.

Re: The Poll Winners: Exploring The Scene!
You've inspired me to try 'Sunday at the Village Vanguard' again, as recommended by @Lego a few years ago. Previously, it was too much of a note jumble for my simple mind but really enjoyed it today. Think I'd like to get some more jazz too!
EDIT: Playing Monk now. I think the piano is slightly out of tune at times but it's fine cos I can hear that now and make sense of it. Whereas with previous systems, it all just sounded like a bloody racket.
