The album above is a stone classic, of course :-)

😃

X is not my fav Chicago album.
If You Leave Me Now is a gem though.

I vastly prefer V / VII / XI

This morning I listened to their first two album.

I prefer Chicago Transit Authority more.

Yes, CTA is a very good album, as is the second one. This reminds me of a fun story from my high school days. After school I would go to a recreation center where a few of us hung out, played pool and talked music. A friend came in and told us he had just picked up two albums from groups he said were going to be really big. I bought them both and liked them both but his predictions didn't completely come true. One was CTA and he was certainly right there. The other was Aorta, who recorded one other album and then were never heard from again. Both were out of Chicago. I guess the chance was better than random as few groups get big, and very few as big for as long as Chicago. But it was still pretty amusing.

A must have on vinyl for any J.J. fan, much better than digital.

I see it's on 3 discs - is this an up 'n down every 12 minutes job?

No, it's on 2 discs with either 3 or 4 tunes per side. Well worth it in this case.
