Today it's one year since Källa was released.

THANK YOU to my team, who worked for years and years until we finally completed it!

THANK YOU to all owners. I frequently get emails from you, describing how the novelty doesn't wear off but instead you just enjoy it more and more. And how nothing else you've heard comes close.

THANK YOU to my distributors and retailers, who keep demonstrating it to people. The truth is in the experience.

I can't even begin to imagine what they must have had to put up with during the conception, long gestation period and eventual birth of Kalla.

Seriously, you are right of course. I’ve always had fantastic support from my family. So indeed I owe them countless of thanks for letting me work so much with what I love.

I think all of us lucky enough to own Kalla owe the whole Lejonklou team a huge debt of gratitude.

I remember the promising reports of the first prototypes and then the intense disappointment when the project was put on ice.

I assumed that great Digital streamers were just too difficult to develop and would need the resources of a large corporation.

If I had known then just how good Kalla was going to be, I would not have upgraded my LP12 or purchased those new vinyl recordings, which now sit there gathering dust.

Congratulations, Fredrik! It is unquestionably a wonderful product and one that continues to surprise people. I just received a call the other day from a cohort who distributes some other products in the US. He is quite familiar with Lejonklou owning a Boazu 1.3, Slipsik 7.1 and recently purchased Entity 1.2 but he is not into streaming at all. Recently he was visiting a dealer who we both supply and who played the Källa for him. He received a double surprise, one being how musical the Källa was and the other being that a track off Spotify was actually more musical than the same one off Qobuz. He had to call me to express his surprise and wonder at it. I was able to quote the comment from Fredrik that 320K Ogg Vorbis well done is better than 24/96 not very well done.

Sorry, that should have read: A small pre. New Mono power amps.

Not sure if the small pre will beat Sagatun Mono. Hasn’t so far, although it’s been pretty close. But I think the new design of the circuit board will kick it up a notch.

Will post more soon about the Mono amps.
