Thank you DelNaja! I am almost obsessive when it comes to not throwing things away. That has resulted in a lot of ugly cases in my storage, which I’ve many times wondered what to do with. Make a less expensive product housed in scratched cases? Not sure how many would be interested in that.

Boazu is partly built by components that have been outside the specifications of Sagatun and Tundra. At first I combined the selections randomly and that didn’t work very well. Then I tried all the combinations of various selections until I found the one that was most musical.

Nice work, can you return, get credit for, sell on the secondhand market those that don't pass your stringent measuring process? ...Seem a little like a waste if the under performing components just stack up.

Hi tpetsch!

As mentioned just above in this thread, I will try using these in some future design. They’re all numbered and four values for each are written down in a book, so it’s easy to find another selection.

Källa 047 has now been delivered to Uppsala, Sweden.

I am also very pleased that SINGularity 007 and 008 were completed and shipped to North America this week, plus a bunch of other phono stages to Europe.

And with that, I will take a summer break and visit my mother. No more shipments from Uppsala until some time in August. But Källa is now in stock at several retailers and distributors, so those of you who are interested in experiencing a new level of digital music replay will hopefully be able to find one.

There has been a long summer pause in the delivery of Källa, due to the need to focus on production and development.

I'm producing 100 units of Slipsik 8 and 100 units of Entity. Those batch sizes have doubled from last time, which is an attempt to counteract the price increases on nearly all components. I simply buy twice as many of everything, which often puts me into the next (lower) price bracket. Then my intern Oscar measures and sorts, measures and sorts, tirelessly, all day long. Now the circuit boards are about to be manufactured.

Then I needed to spend some weeks on the new Tundra Mono. Two new prototype boards are ready and perhaps in their final version. There are just a couple of things left to rig and compare, then I'll know. I also visited the factory making the cases, to go through the designs and discuss quality levels. Let's hope they make everything perfect this time.

But Källa is now shipping again. I love building them. When I'm done and everything measures perfectly, I sit down and play a few tracks on it. It's almost instantly apparent if it performs as it should.

Källa 048 was delivered to Östersund, Sweden.

Källa 049 was shipped to the Netherlands.

Thanks for the update Fredrik. New Tundra mono, very exciting. Better than the old one, or necessitated by component obsolescence?

A big thank you Fredrik & team for developing and producing this fantastic masterpiece of musicality. I am really looking forward to enjoy en re-discover the music I like for many years to come.

Also a big thank you to Marco who gave me the opportunity to enjoy this source of endless thrills with his number 002 until 049 arrives. I just could not resist Källa (and even my wife understood it ;-).

All components to Tundra Mono 2.2 are still available, so it's entirely a matter of trying to make something better.

O boy… Fredrik
I am happy with my current set up, so I’ve been inactive for a couple of years, but now I read about KÄLLA and my body, heart and brain begin to tremble…
Are you bringing me the fever again? It seems so

Is there a waiting list on ordering KÄLLA?

Welcome back Sopper!

There is some waiting involved between order and delivery, but not more than a couple of weeks. Right now I have three on order. They take a while to complete as the final tuning is laborious.

Meanwhile I’ll hear what it’s all about, I’m getting the demo KÄLLA from Marco, to test (happy)

Looking at the rest of your system, just follow the setup guidelines to the letter, and you should absolutely love it!
