The Amplify HDs exhibited similar behavior, but not the Aliens.
Some questions
a) Is band steering enabled?
b) Is channel selection in the -> Router Configuration -> Advanced -> set to automatic?
If so, disable it and select a manual one to test.
A Wi-Fi app would be helpful for determining which bands are less busy. The Amplify HDs only worked satisfactorily with manual channel selection. The Aliens, however, worked perfectly in automatic mode.

Re: Recommended network components
Thanks for the advice, but i have already tested band steering options
and tried different channels, i have a wifi analyzer app to see wich channels are avalible and tried channels with less interferense.
I am going to send a support file to Amplifi support, let us see what the reply is.
I had the Amplifi HD routers before Aliens and they worked perfectly, one in router mode and the other as mesh point

Re: Recommended network components
Got an answer from Amplifi support:
Hello,
After reviewing the support file with the team, it was determined that the mesh point has a weak WiFi 6- 2.4 GHz radio. Therefore, the team has suggested you fill out the form given below for a potential hardware issue.
I bought the Alien kit second hand and can’t do an RMA.
I am going to buy an Alien router and use it as an mesh point.

Re: Recommended network components
Bought an Alien router, second hand, and now everything is back musically :-)
Re: Recommended network components
Good to hear that, Kalle05!
I’m hoping this fault is very rare. Haven’t heard of anyone else being affected.
Now that you have two Alien routers instead of one router and one mesh unit, does it perform the same as before?

Re: Recommended network components
The 2 routers work perfectly together, when the original mesh unit was in use and connected only at 2.4ghz there was a slight downgrade overall, musicality and sound wise, but now the music and the feeling is top notch, for me the feeling has to be right, the connection to the tunes/song comes together
