Road Runner 2 - HAKAI 5

POST beeps that is!

I re-imaged the HAKAI with SSH & without a desktop environment, and it worked as before (still no ALAC w/ Kazoo) but, now that I run it headless, it beeps 5 times at POST. Checking the Interwebs, 5 beeps is anything from catastrophic cpu failure during Power-On Self-Test to 'a process error'...

Digging through the AMI website, I found this in the Aptio Status Codes pdf:

I guess 5 beeps are to be expected, then, since there's no monitor or keyboard connected. Presumably it's the same experience for others, and there's no way to disable this?

HAKAI is up & running fine like a Road Runner, if you ignore the Wile E. Coyote-ness of 'Acme Kazoo' with ALAC, but that's another (unfinished) story...

Never experienced 5 beeps, or any beep for that matter...
But then again, I always remove pulse audio with fresh install, and I think pulse audio is responsible for system sounds

With the 3160 motherboard and no keyboard connected I get 5 beeps as well. That's all it's telling you.
This doesn't happen with the 3050 motherboard.

Five beeps lets me know that my HAKAI is booting.

I mounted my nas recently and now get one beep followed by 2 beeps.. No idea what 5his means
