Can I just ask for clarification regarding the Deltaco SATA cable. Which cable is recommended? Is it the SATA-1000-K on the deltaco website or is it the SATA-1000? I ask because earlier in the thread the link to the markit.eu website leads to the SATA-1000-K cable.

I'm unsure of the difference between these two. The only thing I can find is that the cord looks different on the -K model.

The SATA-1000 model originates from Linnofil's development of LSNAS. It does sound better than some other models I have. I have never seen or tried a SATA-1000-K.

Quietpc.com in the UK had them last week. May be worth checking if they are restocking. I got my chassis and PS from them 2 weeks ago.

I have found a site in the U.K. that claims to have 10+ of the GA-N3160N-D3V motherboards in stock, but they only ship to U.K. addresses. It can be found here:
https://www.kikatek.com/Product/1070825 ... DDR4-M-ITX
Are any of our U.K. members familiar with this outfit? I'm anxious to get my own HAKAI project started and this is the first time I found a source that has (maybe? hopefully?) suitable motherboards in stock.

As I mentioned in my first post, and hence the reason for its presence in this thread.

While discussing the price with the source of MBs that David Neel so kindly had given me, I stumbled upon an alternative which I finally went for instead.

I want to share it here, in the sharing spirit of this awesome forum!

https://www.lambda-tek.com/shop/?region ... N3160N-D3V

They have very low prices, convenient ordering/checkout, they ship "to many places in the world", and if you are in the EU and you buy with a company, the invoice automatically is without VAT if you simply provide them with your company's VAT-number.

(Although I can buy computer stuff with a company, I actually chose not to use that, and I paid with my private account instead. I therefore had to pay 20% more, but I saved much company administration. I am happy to explain the details of that, if someone is interested.)

Of course, none of that would matter if they can't deliver what we want! :-D

I couldn't believe my eyes when they also had 30+ in stock of the MB I was looking for! So, I asked them about that, and it was correct, and the model number really was exactly the one I wanted.

My two Gigabyte N3160N-D3V arrived yesterday!

Thanks Paaf! I was very excited to read your post and went directly to their site to place an order. Unfortunately they DON'T ship anywhere in the world, just U.K. and mainland Europe. Blast! Foiled again!

Anyone willing to help out a poor sap stuck on the wrong side of the pond?
