I've posted a summary of an issue I hit recently: https://www.lejonklou.com/forum/viewtop ... 385#p75385
I received exemplary support from Fredrik when I hit this issue: he was very responsive and supportive. Lejonklou owners can be confident that they are in very good hands.
I encountered the issue of a strange hum through the phono stage (see the post above for details) did some checks and thought I'd identified the Slipsik 8 as the cause (I was wrong), so sent a query to Fredrik. He responded very quickly indeed and after a brief email discussion we agreed I would send the Slipsik direct to him for analysis along with my Boazu for upgrade to 1.5.
When the Slipsik arrived without any hum, I did some further checks and discovered the real cause.
Boazu and Slipsik returned today to me after less than 2 weeks.
As an aside, I had a few conversations last month with a prospective buyer of my Slipsik 7 who was unsure if the preamp would work with his cart. He had also contacted Fredrik for information and was very impressed with the help he received. "What a gent!" he said of Fredrik, and I can only agree with the sentiment.

Re: Lejonklou Support
I bought a used Slipsik 7.1 two years ago and Frederick responded quickly and informatively to my questions before getting it. Great customer service for a used product, can't praise him and his products sufficiently!
