New Lejonklou headquarters

Post by lejonklou »

The last 9 days I’ve been moving my lab into new and bigger premises. The lab is where the pre-measuring of components is done and the development, final assembly and fine tuning of all my products happens.

It’s a really charming place that I think will be a truly inspiring place to work and experiment in.

I’m currently organising everything and apologise for not having shipped any of the orders that have been placed since mid November. But by the end of the coming week, production will be back to normal and a bunch of phono stages will be shipped, followed by three Källa and more phono stages. Thank you for your patience!

I also just received some positive news about the cases for Tundra Mono 3, it seems all parts are now ready.

I am a little sore from lifting a hundred heavy boxes, but it’s a good pain. I’m feeling really positive right now!

The new address is Västra Strandgatan 9, 753 11 Uppsala, Sweden.

Congratulations, Fredrik! It's great to hear that you found a place that will work well for you. Even better, it appears to be within reasonable walking distance too. Cheers!

Yes, what a beautifully picturesque location! And best of all, the wine bar with a riverside terrace is perfectly positioned for your Friday afternoon “business meetings” 😉

Indeed Fredrik, congratulations!
Will you have there also a dedicated listening room?

Thank you for the tip, Spannko! I guess I’ll have to wait until the spring for those meetings. At present it’s -3 degrees Celsius.

It’s an absolute necessity, matthias! Currently it’s the only room that is close to finished. Tomorrow I’m going to play some music there for the first time and will spend the evening fine tuning speaker positioning, etc.

Congratulations, Fredrik! The building looks cool from the outside and the convenience sounds great. An even more inspiring place to work can only be good news for you and for all of us as well. The availability of the Tundra Mono 3 cases is also great news. Really looking forward to hearing the new most musical amplifier in the world!

Thank you!

Production has now resumed after a two week pause. Six phono stages were shipped on Friday and the new listening room is just fabulous. Easy to get stuck in there. Thankfully my focus is on delivering what is currently on order, which is five Källa and eight phono stages.

Totally in love with these new headquarters!

That’s great news Fredrik. The new HQ sounds fantastic and well worth all the effort to set it up. Enjoy!

Any news about your new headquarter? Some pictures would be great! I am thinking about visiting and bringing a friend or two with me.

Current state is the following:

Only two boxes remain on the floor unpacked.
More wall shelves are needed.
Need to rearrange Oscar's workstation.
Kitchen floor will soon be repainted.
An electrician will soon redo the mains in two rooms.
If I'm lucky I might get fiber installed and get rid of the 4G router now hanging from the ceiling.

Love hanging out there.
Lab room is functional and pleasant to work in.
Listening room is dangerous. Just one more track!

You are most welcome, El Mero Mero!
Just book in advance, because I'm not there all the time.
