Just because of your signature Ozzzy.
I can soon alter it, besides, it's about listening to other people's systems. Some were absolutely amazing when I went, some less so. I would love to hear what people thought of a Lejonklou system in comparison to the others, both good and less good opinion.

Update: I have a room confirmed (but don't know which one yet).
I will be running AEDSM, Exaktbox6/1, 3x Tundra Stereo 2.5 amps and either Gauder Akustik speakers (if all goes well) or Ninkas (if plans don't pan out). Either way, the speakers will add a splash of colour!

I will update with a room number when this becomes available.

I invite all Lejonklou forum members to an informal get together in my room at 13:00 on the Sunday. Look forward to meet you!

Re: EVENTS - Lejonklou HiFi at Axpona April 12th-14th

Post by ThomasOK »

I am happy to announce that Nokturne Audio and Lejonklou Hi-Fi will be displaying at the Axpona Audio Expo in Schaumburg, IL (a suburb of Chicgo) Friday April 12th through Sunday April 14th.

This will be the first public showing of the SINGularity MC phono stage in the US and also the first display at a US show of the Slipsik 7. So we will have a $40,000ish phono stage and a $1695 one - both of them quite excellent. Fredrik will be here with me for the show and it should be an exciting time.

I am trying to pull together a really special show and so far it is looking good. This is what the equipment list should look like:

Linn LP12/Harban movingui plinth/Klimax Radikal/Keel/Trampolin 2/Ekos SE1/Kandid
Linn LP12/refinished Linn rosewood plinth/Lingo 4/Kore/Trampolin 2/Ekos 2/Adikt
Lejonklou SINGularity mono block MC phono stage
Lejonklou Slipsik 7 MM phono stage
Lejonklou Sagatun Monos
Lejonklou Tundra Monos
Quad ESL (original, also known as 57s) rebuilt by Sheldon Stokes and ThomasOK
OFIL X644 stands modified for Quads
NOKTables
Harmoni racks with Mimer tops
Linn cabling

Possible JBL 4645C with OFIL stand, Marchand XM44 crossover and Tundra (if I can get the blend to where I am happy with it - to be determined)

We will be in room 1422 and the show hours are:
Friday April 12th 10:00AM through 6:00PM
Saturday April 13th 10:00AM through 6:00PM
Sunday April 14th 10:00AM through 4:00PM

Here is a link to the main page for the show:

I look forward to seeing any of you who might be able to visit!

Now confirmed that I'll be running the Gauder Akustik speakers as the Exakt filter design work seems to have gone well (IMHO!).

The spreadsheet of all the systems at the show is here:

Oooffff...... ThomasOK, that sounds a very interesting demo. Not least for the auditioning of two new Lejonk phono pre’s, but also feeding into Quad 57s. Looking forward to the show report

..... Less than 3 days before the Hamburg Hifi show starts ....!

Fredrik is present and will be introducing the new SINGularity MC phono stage - the first time for any audience to see and hear it in real.
And he also brings the very first Slipsik 7.0 - in his words - the very best and perhaps final MM version.....

So what else do we have?

Sources
Linn Klimax LP12 - full spec apart from Urika - the obvious choice to demonstrate SINGularity (generously supplied by Linn & Lejonklou dealer Concerto Audio, Amsterdam)
Linn Akurate LP12 with Adikt to demonstrate Slipsik 6.1 against 7.0

Amplification
Latest Sagatun Mono and Tundra Mono series

Speakers
We have the very first pair of Klangedang T1 with integrated Reference filters in the stands.
We also bring a pair of Graham Audio BBC LS5/9 speakers.

Racks
Support act is done by Harmonihyllan Kompakt series and NOKTables

Cabling
Linn silver interconnects and Tcables, Lejonklou confectioned ´K200´ speaker cable

...and off course lots of music on vinyl :-)

Looking forward to see you there and if you are not able to attend then we will update this later on with some pictures and impressions.

Marco & Fredrik

Really tempted to drive down to Hamburg and look and listening to the Singularity...
Little to long drive to do my self and I think I need the money for the coming slipsik7:)

Anyhow if someone going from west coast Sweden I might change my mind, I have a fast car ;)
Some place to sleep I think would sort it self out.

Marco - looks like you have some fabulous kit to demonstrate.

Hope you and Fredrik have a great show!

Be interested to get feedback on the new SINGularity MC phono stage in particular.
