Simple question about Tundra

Post by donuk »

On the back of my Tundra 2 it says something about Do not use single plugs. Forget exactly what.
Does that mean we have to use only Naim type double speaker plugs??
Mine has been working fine for a year using traditional banana plugs .

Cheers
Don, sunny downtown York

PS was in Uppsala last week, lovely town. Great Italian restaurant - Villa Romana.

Hi Don!

Sorry I missed you! Was only gone for two weeks and you had to come exactly then? :o) Glad to hear you had a good time anyway.

The printing on the back of Tundra is a legal thing. EU decided that banana plugs should not be allowed as they can also fit into a mains outlet, which of course can be lethal. Naim solved it with a double banana that doesn't fit the mains and a text on the back warning the user not to use individual banana plugs. I did the same.

Thanks Fredrick - yes it would have been nice to meet up.
I did meet a barman in Uppsala who got chatting to us - he is an electrical engineer looking for a job locally. I told him to give you a call!!

Thanks for the info. Interesting how the world works.

Catch you next time..

Don
