The forum rules have been updated.

A broken link to more information about the Tune Method has also been repaired.

The entire website is switching to https only today.

That means that visits to http:/www.lejonklou.com/xxx will be automatically redirected to https:/www.lejonklou.com/xxx.

I hope the transition goes smoothly. If problems should occur, you know the reason and I hope to have it under control soon.

Done!

All seems to work fine so far, but the fonts here on the forum has changed. Not sure why... Do you think it's a change for the better or is it worse?

No, there seems to be a problem when posting content here on the forum. I get an error message that a secure connection couldn't be established, but the content has been posted.

UPDATE:
I think I solved it now.

PLEASE REPORT BUGS if you run into any!

It appears as though Home, Board index and Category are secure, but the threads are unsecured.

Edit. After posting this message I used the breadcrumb at the top of the page to go back to the Board Index and the connection remained unsecured.

Thank you! Will try a few more things.

Login from https is successful but redirects me to the http URL for the forum

Everything works great for me! https all the time on all pages I have tested and maybe even faster response!

Yes, although it did appear to redirect briefly to http before correcting to https... Not sure if that's a cache issue with my browser or something else. Not a problem, ultimately, just an observation.

Cache cleared - seems to be good now

Not quite alright after all: despite clearing the cache, my browser is reporting 'Insecure connection' despite the https URL, and that it has "blocked some of the insecure content on [the] page."

Thank you!

Smugness gone. Will look into it tomorrow!

Not enough to banish the smugness: the forum does seem quicker, and the browser info regarding insecure content is only for topics under Lejonklou, and HAKAI categories...

OK, now I hope it works.

The problem was that some users had avatars linked from unsecure websites, making the content of that forum page mixed. These avatar links have now been deleted.

I suspect that other unsecure content may exist on this forum. If you notice this (your browser loosing the lock symbol and https in the address, perhaps even issuing a warning), please copy the address field of your browser and post it here!

Part of that was my fault linking an image in the 'copper' topic with an http URL... I edited to https and the browser warning went away. All looking good otherwise - secure and quick.

There is one problem I haven't figured out yet.

On some browsers (e.g. Safari on iPhone and iPad), after posting or editing a message and pressing Submit, you are taken to the top of the page. So to see your new or edited message, you need to scroll down.

This was not how it was before. I'm trying to figure out why. If you have any tips or related information/experience, please let me know.

The forum seems to respond very fast most of the time, I doubt it's become anything but better than before in this regard.

This top-of-page bug haunts me though. Did some fixes but they haven't helped. It's possibly something simple, but I haven't found it. Annoying!

It's much faster than the Linn forum ;)

The closing of Linn's official forum appeared to generate a spike of new visitors to our forum. In late September/early October we almost doubled the number of daily individual visits to 2500, a number than has since slowly declined to 2000, which is where we're currently at.

Pretty impressive, considering we were 1400 in August!

Thank you all for contributing to this ever increasing pool of knowledge of how to best reproduce music in our homes!

The "redirect to the top of the page after posting/editing"-bug is, despite all my attempts to fix it, still present. If anyone knows phpBB3, I would very much appreciate some help solving it!
