We were offline for 5 hours this morning due to our host shutting us down because of ”too many bots”.

Now resolved. Apologies for the inconvenience!

I wonder why the bots like your forum so much....?

Fredrik,
some audo forums enable functions like SEARCH only for members, guests can not use it.
Would this be helpful?

BTW, for this post I had to log-in twice, the second time after typing and it was gone, annoying!

The bots seem to love HiFi!

Thank you Matthias, we already have very limited search for guests (only one at a time and only once every 30 seconds). Members can search more freely.

I will soon be moving the whole site to a new host. It’s time to rebuild the configurations from the ground up from a more stable platform. These bot attacks and logout problems are annoying. It seems the majority of members is unaffected, but some are having constant trouble and that’s just unacceptable.
