Re: Superkikkin

Is this thread about the Superkikkin or the forum rules? If it's the latter, it's off topic by the forum rules. @Spannko, if you meant to denigrate the previous posters on this thread who used imperfect UK English you, by my count, warned 3 or 4 potential customers above. English is now an internat...

Hi Sopper - I think you'll really like them... :)

But not if you look at them. :)

Actually, five! Two for each Mono, and I'll fix the Radikal as well.

Re: Recommended network components

I've been a bit slow on all of this. I bought a GS308T to compare with my GS108T many months ago, but it didn't get connected for a long time. Then I just plugged it in (with the 108 PS) and didn't bother with comparing as it was straight out of the box. But I didn't notice much difference. Then I s...

"It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer." Albert Einstein I don't know if this is true. I guess he was pretty smart, worked late evenings, took breaks, found new inspiration and worked late again! He is also reported to have said: "I think 99 times and I find nothing...

Best wishes for 2023

A few days early, but I feel the desire to send everybody best wishes for 2023. My own 2023 will be different, quite how much I'm not sure. My life has simplified recently in a material sense, and become richer in other dimensions. I was very conflicted about ordering TM3s - do I really need them, o...

EDIT: I've heard a little of the Boult Decca and the Previn RCA. Previn for me! Thanks for your input David. I know you’ve got an extensive orchestral collection so I really should have consulted with you before jumping the gun on this one! .. contrast it with the Previn or Boult versions with the later revisions... Spotify (US) has 3 Previn versions, and 3 Boult versions, that I found: Previn London Symphony Orchestra, 1972 (Sony Classical) Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, 1987 (Telarc) London Symphony Orchestra, 2003 (RCA Red Seal) Bou...

Alternatively, you could listen to it on vinyl, and contrast it with the Previn or Boult versions with the later revisions... ultimately, this one doesn't fully satisfy...

Re: Entity MC

This upgrade is blowing my mind. I expected a modest improvement, consistent with the minor changes implemented. Instead I have got a substantial improvement, along the lines of the differences I have heard between my Rad1 and the demo I heard of Rad2. It's just more real. And has removed my mild di...
