Re: Tony Tune-age System
Good evening tpetsch and thanks for the information. What is the name of the company (or guy) that sold Brik grilles to you? And they are in the U.S. as well? I'll be sure look at the link you provided, and I really don't mind waiting (as long as they fit well and sound good). Also, if you don't min...
Re: Entity MC
Figured I'd ask this in this thread as well. Is it to safe assume the Krystal will be a better match for the Entity 1.1 than the Dynavector XX2 since it was designed for Linn Cartridges? Greetings, and welcome to the forum. Both cartridges are in a similar price range, the Krystal has an output of ...

Re: Tony Tune-age System
Also, if you don't mind me making a suggestion, you might find that installing grills back onto your Briks helps dispersion & overall InTune'ness, Briks were actually designed to function with them in place. I tried it both ways myself several times over the years and I always go back to using them...

Re: Forum issues are discussed here
I have to chuckle at this, posted on the same day as asking a Lejonklou product specific question in your Me and My system thread rather than under the Lejonklou category... I saw value in your question, and Hermann's answer, but I know that's not where I'd think to look for information on Sagatun ...

My village has been having intermittent power issues all year and we now have a trunk on the road opposite the house with a portable generator. Yes and thank you Tony. I know them already. I’ve heard those Audio Creative parts are good and might be useful for a next refurb step. You're welcome Arjen, and I'm certainly learning more about Lenco turntables now as well. It's always good getting a turntable to sound better, especially for reas...

Placed an order for this Joe Satriani vinyl record:

This was ordered for me as a gift, so I'll wait and listen when the album arrives:

Re: Tony Tune-age System
Not at all, if the LED is operated at the correct operating point, which I assume is the case with Fredriks products. I also leave the LEDs flashing. So have gotten used to it. How was the session? Thanks for that Hermann, glad it will be okay if left flashing for a few days. I'm sure Fredrik has e...

Interesting information Arjen, glad everything went well for you. Out of curiosity, I looked up the "damping of Lenco turntables" and found this topic on a forum...including some pictures as well...(see link below) https://www.lencoheaven.net/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=p5olp7ia2gd5vmpetcc7rovsu0&top...

Re: Tony Tune-age System
I have a question regarding the Sagatun volume and mute light. I inadvertently left the blinking mute light on for a couple of days without noticing. How significant is that, and will it shorten the life very much?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Forum issues are discussed here
I've been telling a few people about Lejonklou products, and have provided them the website for more information also. However, in some cases there are several threads for the same components (i.e., Slipisk, Sagatun, Gaio, Tundra, etc.). Could some of those threads be consolidated for easier access ...

Re: Akudorik
Better sounding with what amplification? Same amplifier(s) for both types of speakers... I think I'm missing something here. Active were the Exakt ones with (presumably) Akurate Exaktbox 6 or similar and 4x100W Chakra. So are we comparing that with passive Akudoriks with Akurate Exaktbox 6 and 2xC4...
Re: Akudorik
Most people might elect to hang onto these speakers, instead of selling them. I've been told by a few people the passive Akudoriks were better sounding than the active version, although both sounded really good. Here is a review conducted by What Hi-Fi in 2015, and they give the Akudoriks a five st...

Re: Akudorik
Sad to see such a good speaker as the Akudorik being discontinued altogether. Glad that I got my passive Akubariks in time, you very rarely see any (nor the passive Akudoriks) for sale anymore. Most people might elect to hang onto these speakers, instead of selling them. I've been told by a few peo...

Re: Tony Tune-age System
A good opportunity indeed. But I hope you're safe and don't have to worry. Thank you Hermann, we did stay safe but had a ton of shoveling to do for several days (3 inches of ice, and 9 inches of snow). We're making arrangements for a few listening sessions with friends soon, they want to hear the n...
