Re: New Linn Launch 2022

After listening to both sets of clips, the K20 cable does seem to have better bass on the Eagles song and perhaps a little better sounding overall. Also, the Al Stewart song is a little more natural and realistic sounding with the K20 cable (better vocals and piano).

That's a good song, and I really like clip B the best. Her voice is way more natural and realistic sounding, as are the musical instruments.

Re: High Schooler’s System

Actually, there was a time when I had a Harman-Kardan stereo receiver, and I think it was part tube and part solid state. It may have been 25 watts per channel, although I don't remember the model number. But in any case, it sounded really good. I ended up selling it when I began going into separate...

Re: Cheap power strips for best sound.

Good news. Thanks Tom - I see Revelation mods in my future... +1 - Great job Thomas, applying the proper torque value seems to be very important to nearly every aspect of the audio chain. The only thing that hasn't sounded better with a specific torque value is the Linn Trampolin (unless that has c...

I'm not real sure how much time the "burn-in" takes, but I didn't notice any significant sound change after being on for a few days. 🔶 A quick question without having to look in the thread. How long "burn-in" time does Entity need.... I will leave this question for owners to answer, because I am not...

Good morning tpetsch, Thanks for the information! I've been very busy for a couple of months, so I'm just now getting back on the forum. I did send an e-mail message to the link below, and they did respond. However, they no longer have the measurements for the original Isobarik speaker grilles. And ...

Good evening tpetsch and thanks for the information. What is the name of the company (or guy) that sold Brik grilles to you? And they are in the U.S. as well? I'll be sure look at the link you provided, and I really don't mind waiting (as long as they fit well and sound good). Also, if you don't min...

Figured I'd ask this in this thread as well. Is it to safe assume the Krystal will be a better match for the Entity 1.1 than the Dynavector XX2 since it was designed for Linn Cartridges? Greetings, and welcome to the forum. Both cartridges are in a similar price range, the Krystal has an output of ...

Also, if you don't mind me making a suggestion, you might find that installing grills back onto your Briks helps dispersion & overall InTune'ness, Briks were actually designed to function with them in place. I tried it both ways myself several times over the years and I always go back to using them...

I have to chuckle at this, posted on the same day as asking a Lejonklou product specific question in your Me and My system thread rather than under the Lejonklou category... I saw value in your question, and Hermann's answer, but I know that's not where I'd think to look for information on Sagatun ...

I've been telling a few people about Lejonklou products, and have provided them the website for more information also. Re: Akudorik

Better sounding with what amplification? Same amplifier(s) for both types of speakers... I think I'm missing something here. Active were the Exakt ones with (presumably) Akurate Exaktbox 6 or similar and 4x100W Chakra. So are we comparing that with passive Akudoriks with Akurate Exaktbox 6 and 2xC4...
