I bought my M140 speakers from that guy, and have been very pleased with his service. Seemed very honest to me. But I do not know him personally, so no guarantee.

As I recently installed the upgrade stands, my 140s sound much better and I really enjoy them. So I'm not sure if I should cut the links.
Did you ever regret cutting them?

Looks like the old Kimber 4TC to me. Personally I don't like their sound. I'd try K400, or QED (Original) for a low-budget alternative

Nice system. I caught that virus only this year, but it is spreading fast :) Started with an MDSM on existing B&W speakers. Upgraded to M140s last month, and C4200 this month. If I continue in the same pace, I wonder who'll stop me first. Wife or bank? :)

Any experience with M140s? I'm moving to a new place in summer and wondering what the optimal distance from the wall will be. Plenty of space to move around (which I don't have atm), so a starting point will save me a lot of time :)
