3,2,1 for me in both clips
The gap in performance between 3 to 2 and 1 is bigger then 2 to 1

Seems not easy to install… Volumio uses older dependancy librariesSopper wrote: ↑2018-11-18 00:40 Kallesprätt made us aware of a new MPD release: https://www.musicpd.org
I have not tested it yet, but it might solve some problems with ESI dac

Re: Volumio.
Try this
In web-ui select different output and save
You get msg player successfully restarted
Select your dac again and save
You get msg player successfully restarted
Hard reboot with SSH/putty (not with web-ui)

Alright, step by step guide: 14. Type: sudo apt-get install upmdcli (and press Y when prompted; this will install latest upmpdcli) Just found a typo, upmpdcli is missing a p in the command, so It didn't install when I did a copy and paste. Oops... corrected, thanks for identifying Volumio is now ca...
Re: Volumio.
It behaves MUCH better after those steps! For instance, I can do basic stuff like play a new song, jump between songs etc. PHEW! :-D Thank you! Do you also have a weirdness that with some songs in the playlist and you click STOP, the playlist becomes empty? (Same if it plays to the end of the playl...

I also get the hangups. Since I start/stop/skip etc all the time, especially now while evaluating HAKAI, I constantly get stuck. Sopper, I know that your guide is not written for the latest Volumio version but I tried anyway. Beware that the two URL:s in step 10 seems to be contracted, at least in ...

Re: Volumio.
Hi Sopper, thanks for the guidance. For my understanding: is this write down meant for solving issues on IoS devices running Kazoo? I downgraded from the July release to this April release applying your manual, but no luck with Kazoo on my iPad so far. What happens in Kazoo? PM me details and I’ll ...
Re: Volumio.
There's a new version on the website. It has Qobuz and Tidal natively. This should have the newest kernel? No it’s based on older kernel I have not been able to get it stable, but that might be my setup and configuration demands And I was not able to use Linn Kazoo for streaming Qobuz in this “nati...
Re: Volumio.
Adding a network disk in web-ui or Volumio app, just makes the music available in the web-ui or app. It has no purpose if you will use different control point. I reckon you’re running a media server on your NAS? Like Twonky, minimserver, asset server, etc. Your control point (Kazoo or Lumin or Bubbl...

Re: Motherboards
I used 2 x 4GB
Not because I need 8GB memory, but Gigabyte states on their website that it’s better to have 2 memory slots used instead of 1.
(But I cannot find this statement anymore, I’m sure I’ve read it somewhere on their website)

Alright, step by step guide: 1. Download http://updates.volumio.org/x86/volumio/2.394/volumio-2.394-2018-04-14-x86.img.zip 2. Create a bootable USB disk like described on the Volumio website 3. No more freezes, MPD crashing, UPMPDCLI crashing, stop playing when switching or adding songs, etc. I am not sure if it is c...

I will explain and go through the steps I made to get t...
