Re: Källa overview
How about an opto link from Källa to Sagatun so it's possible to control volume with an app? And then also add the opto interface to Boazu?

Re: Boazu and LS3/5A ?
I have Boazu and T1 (https://klangedang.se/t1.html) with 84dB & ~6ohm in a slightly larger room and it works very well. So if you don't want to play extremely loud I think Boazu will make you happy.

Re: Volumio Spotify
I use Spotify Connect2 and it works fine. Anyone connected to my wifi can then control and play from their mobiles (or anything with Spotify) .
Re: Volumio.
I installed latest version of Volumio (2.834 for Asus Tinkerboard S, and the Gigaport HD+ DAC) a couple of weeks ago. It all looked good, Volumio found the DAC, but got this error as soon as I started to play any music: Failed to open “alsa” [alsa]; Error opening ALSA device “hw:5,0”; snd_pcm_hw_pa...

Re: TMV´s system
I have made some major upgrade to my LP12, now any record I play is fantastic! LP12 ~83 -> fluted walnut ~93 Cirkus -> Karousel Lingo 3 -> ARadikal I have also upgraded Klångedang T1 from external SHW filter to Revision 6. SHW had it´s charm but R6 is so much better. With Lejonklou Slipsik and Boazu...

Re: Where to go from here... a dangerous question to ask!!
For better music playback you could skip the phono stage (for now:) and buy a Karousel instead and then sell the amps and buy a Tundra. Better motor control is also a good option.
Re: Karousel
Klimax LP12 is boring VS Akurate with Karousel. Really? I hate this kind of statements. Klimax LP12 has never been boring! I would much prefer them saying "Taking the LP12 to a whole new level." or something like this. Not the same comparison but after comparing Klimax LP12 with Circus or Karousel ...

Re: Suggestions - Rega Planar 8 Cartridge
You ca start by replacing the needle with an AT95 needle. Then you have money over for a slipsik. (But maybe adikt+gaio is better?)
Re: Karousel
My local Linn dealer wrote this at tonlaget.com.

Re: Radikal connection question
With Urika I you need to connect to a line input but with Urika II the conversion to digital is done in Urika and connected to a digital Exakt interface.
Urika is only for MC, there are no MM variants to be used with the Radikal PSU.

Re: TMV´s system
I've been looking at the Volumio Primo, which seems similar to your digital source. Is that more or less correct? Any thoughts about the Primo? Hello Billy, the Primo uses the same Thinker Board S as I am but with another integrated DAC. I have no idea how it compare to Thinker Board S and Gigaport...

Re: Akudorik / Akubarik
"we feed in the digital output from our reference Naim NDS/555PS streamer" to the Akurate DSM is the only way I can think of. So DSM is not connected through Ethernet, instead they use the NDS as digital source to the DSM. Clock is now coming from the NDS and is recovered in the DSM, could be better?

Re: TMV´s system
Upgraded my digital source from KRDS/0 to Thinker Board S, Gigaport HD+ DAC and Volumio SW
Much better musical understanding and more information, but the KRDS/0 has a more smooth sound.
An AMAZING upgrade for the money, I´m very happy with my "mini HAKAI".

Help with summer house system
Hello, I´m putting together a single digital source system for my summer house: Source: Asus Tinker Board and GIGAPORT HD/HD+ DAC with Volumio Amp: Maybe Tundra 2.0 ? Speakers: Pobably JBL L26 Great amp would be a Boazu but at least a new one is too expensive. I have found a used Tundra 2.0 at a goo...

Re: GIGAPORT HD/HD+
The main reason to support 96k or higher is to be able to use FLAC files with these sample rates. If 96k is better compared to 48k is another question but I agree that the value of high sample rates seems low. I'm using GIGAPORT HD+ with Asus Thinker board S and Volumio up to 96k so it's possible to...
