Re: Re:

Hello Rufus and All, Just wonder if I can use the KDS torque setting on my KRDS/0 ? As per Rufus's setting: KDS boards 0.9Nm, earth bolt 2.9Nm Thanks and have a nice day. Kam.. I say no. A couple of years ago when I upgraded the KDS/O to /1 I tired out the torque for the board on the Renew and surp...

Davaar 25 is flat and lifeless.

Davaar 23 (sorry which version is not available atm) is much better musically on my system.
I totally agree. I prefer Davaar 4.12.357, best so far.

Re: Klångedang T1 - sensational loudspeakers!

Inspired and encouraged by Christian, i changed the internal damping in the stands to wood shavings. A very worthwhile upgrade almost for free. Better flow and more music. I really appreciate Anders for continuing to develop the already amazing speakers. I didn't change to the latest filters as I f...

Re: Exakt

I'm worried about the way Exakt was developed. A lot of technical explanations and talk about distorsion and measurements gives me a bad gut feeling. I hope I'm wrong when I suspect listening tests has had prioritization after technical BS. C seems correct and D is another way of saying we value tun...

I tried to unscrew the amp pack from on of my ATC100A's and put on a chair behind the speaker. Different and slightly better.

Re: Tundra Mono 2

Correct, I had the first pair upgraded to TM2. Fredrik did first part of the run in as I was away from home when they were ready for shipping. They did go up and down in performance but not at all in the way ML describes. On the other hand, he bought a brand new pair. They keep on impressing and are...

Re: Exakt

Thanks for the post Thomas, it sums up what I have heard myself. I strongly doubt you are not skilled to set up a system with exakt technology. It seems the advocates for exakt systems always try to blame the setup when someone comes to the conclusion they prefer analog (or non Exakt) systems. A few...

Re: Tundra Mono 2

ok then - my Solo's was a good pair, they completely killed a Dynamik'ed Twin and they were very close to latest version of Solo (with Dynamik). But this is something different! Simply more music :) The amps are changing by the hour. Still laid-back in the bass and dynamically slightly compressed. ...

Re: Tundra Mono 2

Round 2, day 2! Fredrik told You earlier that I'm not easily impressed, but I'm totally overwhelmed over the upgraded Monos! I listened at low volumed this afternoon and I felt like listening to actively driven speakers. The resolution was that good. Otherwise, passive systems often feels a bit stra...

Re: Tundra Mono 2

The Tundra Mono 2 is a fabulous amp! They arrived this afternoon and after almost an hour after connected, the magic was there. They are even better than what I remember from the prototypes. The most obvious is the way I get dragged into the music. Tracks I am used to as good but not very special ge...

Re: New forum

I would be happy with the desktop version only as I think I get a better overview. If you are familiar with the desktop version from using it on a bigger screen, you know where to zoom to find what you are looking for when browsing on a phone. Harmonization, in another word. /Erik PS. And no Tapatal...

Great news!
I'm very keen to hear what has happened since I heard the prototypes. As you all might understand, I think it was a fundamental step from the original TM.

I guess it has more to do with placement and blending in the crossover than the individual amplitude.

Impressed is totally correct. I find it hard to describe and if it's not a new amp it definitely is a mk2. It's not only better, but also different .The difference is that big. I had the great opportunity to host Fredrik and the prototypes of Mono 2 and a lot of comparisons was made, and a lot of mu...
