Possibly they are targeting the Far Eastern Market.

It certainly does look interesting. I wish they had posted a photo of the underside so I could see the suspension bolts. Since they obviously don't go through the top plate and they talk about them also being machined I am curious to see how they are implemented. At £800 it is a lot more costly tha...

I almost forgot about the LP12. While I didn’t compare the LP12 on the Mimer vs. the Archidee in the latest listening sessions, I suppose the fact that the LP12 is still on the Archidee is probably telling enough, but I must say that the LP12 on the Mimer did sound quite good. Debbie and I both fel...

Yes. I believe the optimal connection is to use a Linn Silver unbalanced cable with an XLR in the speaker end. That the Kikkin is inverting phase is really easy to correct in the cable: The unbalanced signal should go to the inverting (cold) input of the XLR. And ground should go to ground and non-...

One final point is important: Kikkin is inverting phase.

I have no personal experience with the Kikkin but I see no reason why they should not be a good match. The ATCs work well with Linn preamps and I suspect the output impedance of the Kikkin is likely in the same range. Since indications are that the Kikkin is musically competitive with an Akurate Ko...

Kikkin + ATC SCM50ASL ?

A friend of mine wants to buy a Kikkin and a pair of ATC SCM50ASL.

My question for all experienced with ATCs, e.g. ThomasOK:

Would both make a good match?

Regarding the Radikal, it's obvious that any improvement in it's power supply will be very important indeed, as it's powering not only the motor but also the Urika. ... Or the Miniline is inferior to the Dynamik, but Linn doesn't want to admit they can drastically improve the Radikal. Being a brand...

There are a lot of informations at the Linn Forum: 1.) New LP12-motor: There are rumours that it is a (brushless) DC-Motor.... 2.) New MC-Preamp: The Preamp w/o PS sits inside the LP12 and is fixed to the Trampolin2 3.) New PS for the motor and the new PS for the MC-Preamp are sitting both together ...

Thomas and Fredrik,

what about using two subs, one for the right and one for the left?
There should be no problems with ground loops and you will get two REL B1 subs for the price of one Klimax 345 sub......

Do you have any experiences with this configuration?

New LP12-Table

There is a new japanese LP12-Table:

www.andante-largo.com

They tell:

"We only endorse and apply the "Tune Demo" as recommended by Linn. This ensures the most musical possible performance from our tables."

Any experiences, any comments?
