*SOLD* Audiotech and Sound Organisation LP12 Supports

It's time to say good bye to my Audiotech and original Sound Org LP12 table's since I'm now DS based. The Audiotech metalwork and spikes are in excellent condition. The top board has a couple of dents and has spike marks on both sides. I'm looking for £65 + p&p. The Sound Org's metalwork is also in ...

Thanks Charlie1,

If you haven't broken the bar, that means you're mono wiring too. The fact that you have to break the bar was the reason for my question in the "mono/bi/multi-wiring" thread - there's no going back if it's not as good!

It was a delight to read your post, Christian! Congratulations to the new speakers, I hope you will stay happy with them for a long time. I still haven't listened to any ATC loudspeaker but am getting more curious every day. There is no doubt in my mind that Thomas OK's contributions on this forum ...

Charlie1, I notice you are using a 4 channel amp with your M140's. How do you use the 4 channel's and did you try a 2 channel amp to compare? When I heard the M140's at my dealer's, he used a 4200, with 2 channel's on the bass and 2 on the treble - it sounded very good to me. However, some people th...

Single/Bi/Multi-wiring Majik 140’s

It looks as though I’ll be getting a pair of 140’s with the upgrade stands, in a couple of weeks. One last decision is how I wire them up to my Akurate 2200? There’s been a lot of debate recently about how best to wire up 242’s, with the consensus being that single or bi-wiring is the most tuneful a...

My first speaker’s were a pair of home made Kef kit 3’s, which used the B139’s and B110’s as used in the Isobark’s (well almost). Does that count as a “nearly Linn ‘speaker”? - no, I don’t think so either! Next up was a pair of Castle Kendal II’s - they were “awarded” Best Buy status in HiFi Choice ...

Thanks for your help Anthony. I didn't think the stands would affect the tune, based on my previous experience of Linn stands, but I thought I'd just check, to make sure.

Majik 140 stands

Hi everyone, I’m 90% sure I’m going to be ordering a new pair of Majik 140’s at the end of the month. I’ve heard them already, and was very impressed with their tune playing ability, but I just want to hear them again before I finally decide. My question relates to the optional stands: How do they a...

Pete, Sorry, I should have been more observant  Just after posting, I looked at your photo again and noticed something lurking in the shadows, and wondered if you'd used something to overcome the problem. I tried a similar thing in the late 80's, only I used 18mm mdf and the feet from a Linn A...

Pete, Judging by your photographs, the trampolinn's suspension is being bypassed because the feet of your pre-amp are sitting directly on top of the tramp's feet. You're not getting the advantage of why it's called the trampolinn, i.e. the thin rubber membrane acting as a trampoline and allowing ver...

"I noticed that the area near the label has the record number and "Linn LP12 Wee Martin" engraved into it. My cohort here believes that Linn's Martin McCue would have cut the master".
