Troika *Sold*

I have a Troika that (according to Fredrik) needs to be rebuilt. I have now realized that this will never happen as long as I have it, so if anyone is interested, I'll be happy to sell it. Don't know what a reasonable price would be though?

Original box included.

Not to pour water on your parade, but would'nt a thicker mat change the vertical tracking angle of the tonearm/cartridge combo? Of course it does! Not to the extent that it absolutely needs adjustment though, I changed mat the other week, and the thinner one was considerably better although it chan...

Deleted one post since it had nothing to do with the subject and since tune-dem obviously was not the evaluation method behind the reasoning.

A Majik DS is of course better, but as a more affordable option, I believe that a Kikkin would be a very nice upgrade all by itself.

All this is false economy the sneaky will be much better, and has a power amp included. Can you not find a second hand sneaky? If you have any need for two Dynamics you might consider getting two Center speakers 112(?) instead of a pair od 109:s.

MC:s are so expensive to run that I probably would not do it. If I did use it I would not get a new one before I had Radikal, Ekos and Keel. Another thing is that the performance of the latest version of Slipsik is so good that I have stopped considering MC at all. How does you LP12 look and what ph...

The best NAS and HDD for a DS

This thread have been missing for a while now. When we get to a point where we can agree on some general recommendations we can edit it and make it a sticky. Apart from sound quality I think that we should try to cover; reliability, noise level, price and ease of use. Music lover? Linnofil? I know y...

Re: I need guidance from all you good people, please?

Hi Lizzy, and Welcome to the forum! :) Now, here's the issue, most of my hard earned cash will go on the source, so will my old Classik cut it with a set-up like Majic/Akurtate DS with Kikkin pre-amp, or is there no point whatsoever, and I'll have to buy a suitable Amp? I don't see any point in keep...

As you might know, my current setup is LP12 (Keel/Ekos2/Adikt) - Slipsik Kikkin - 4xLK100 - active Isobarik. About a year ago (or is it two? God, I'm getting old!) You can also add the cost of phono stage, where a second hand Linto will cost a lot more than a new Kinki2.
Fredrik, I don't mean to ruin your calculations, but that LP12 really deserves a Slipsik ;)
