That’s great news Fredrik. The new HQ sounds fantastic and well worth all the effort to set it up. Enjoy!

Re: General Discussion about Källa
Many thanks for all the advice. I have ordered an Apple TV 4K and will report back in the future how I am getting on with it. I tried an Apple TV 4K but have returned it to Apple. The main purpose would have been using Sky with it but the resultant picture quality was terrible which Macrotech had r...

Re: General Discussion about Källa
Update on using Sky Go on Apple TV. Sadly, this link https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Go-Apps/Using-Sky-Go-on-Apple-TV/td-p/4116853 indicates that the picture quality via Sky Go on Apple TV is not even full HD most of the time, so you may gain better sound but at the expense of seriously degraded vi...

Re: General Discussion about Källa
Flatcoat - as you have Sky Multiroom , download the Sky Go app onto Apple TV then watch Sky using that. The Sky Q box is not used at all in this configuration. Similarly use Apple TV for all other apps, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Paramount+ etc. Apple TV supplies the picture (which is better qu...

Re: Tundra Mono 3
This is fantastic and very exciting news Fredrik - thanks as always for all the amazing work you put into your products. My setup sounds so consistently amazing that it's difficult to imagine it sounding even better! Have you a rough idea on the proportion of new price that the upgrade will cost, an...

I had a friend over and we tested qobuz and Spotify against Watch other again. This time it was Jern 12WS Boazu Källa. I wonder why some records are ridiculously better on Spotify. One example is Talk Talk with the opener ‘Happiness is easy’. It is such a big difference. Rickie Lee Jones first reco...

Thanks for the update Fredrik. New Tundra mono, very exciting. Better than the old one, or necessitated by component obsolescence?

Thanks Spannko. I was very excited to hear this until I read that you need to pay extra for Sky Multiscreen to use it. 😠

Will the original Klimax DS now be Organik by default and at what price point?
I don’t know why I’m asking this though as I don’t really care. :-)

Re: Recommended network components
If the second Amplifi is next to the HiFi, will the iPad automatically connect to it? Similarly, if the iPad is closer to the router Amplifi, then will it connect to that instead? Since you’re hearing a sound difference, this may be something to be aware of and could be an explanation for some of t...

Re: Recommended network components
There are so many variables involved in different networks, I think it’s always going to be the case of finding what works best for you in your network. Another factor to consider. In the Amplifi network which Amplifi is your source IPad device connected to? My iPad can see both Amplifis but I reck...

Re: Recommended network components
The article suggests not using in bridge mode might slow the network down, it doesn’t say that this mode of operation is mandatory (the word Matthias uses). I actually want a separate subnet anyway, to completely isolate the system networking from anything else in the house, which may well have its ...

Re: Recommended network components
Not sure how I would configure the Fritzbox to only work as a modem. You would have to switch off both DHCP server and WiFi, so it doesn't work as a router anymore. You don’t turn off the DHCP server if you connect the Amplifi to a port on the BT Hub like I have to. Otherwise the Amplifi doesn’t ge...

Re: Recommended network components
Congrats Defender, IIUC the Fritzbox works now as modem only? not really actually I use the Fritzbox still for the rest of ethernet and wifi traffic for family and work. The Amplifi’s are my own separate audio wifi network. Only I have access to the wifi password. not sure if thats diminishing the ...

Re: Recommended network components
Apologies if this has already been clarified Fredrik but I’d like to confirm. I have not notice...

Re: Recommended network components
That’s what Spannko has done isn’t it, apart from possibly the length of cable? Maybe, if this is the case the secret of the musicality of the HD is not the router function per se but a two router config separated by wifi. Which is what I was wondering about as well. Any comments on this from your ...

Re: Recommended network components
The Amplifi HD can work as a switch/WAP type thingy (sorry, I don’t know what it’s called in this mode). That is, installed immediately before the GS108T, being supplied by Ethernet from the ISP router, and working as a local WAP. The change in sound is immediately noticeable: bigger soundstage, cl...
